Frigid February Forecast

The Farmers’ Almanac, a publication offering expert knowledge on varying topics including amazingly accurate long-range weather predictions (for both the United States and Canada), forewarns of frigid temperatures in February in the northern tier states, which could see temperatures as low as 40 degrees below zero! Whether you work for a school system, public safety organization or corporation, there is still time to take inventory of all your emergency supplies and stock up or replenish your supply of emergency blankets.

Heatsheets emergency blankets provide comfort and hypothermia protection, keeping wearers dry in rain and snow. They reflect up to 90 percent of body heat back to the user and their durable material means they can be easily reused.

The Heatsheets team has worked hand-in-hand with race operations directors for more than 35 years to make sure safety blankets could be quickly distributed at endurance events. More recently, our team has applied that same operational knowledge and adaptability and successfully partnered with emergency management and public safety leaders including the NYPD. And in doing so, we’ve developed high visibility colors and special packaging to save space and to ensure rapid deployment.

Heatsheets are made and recycled in the United States, and are Certified Space Technology. All products feature our proprietary Silver Lining technology, adapted from radiant barrier technology developed by NASA engineers for the U.S. Space Program. Heatsheets are lightweight and take up minimal space, which means they store easily in emergency survival kits of any size.
