Heatsheets Provide Perfect Finish to Every Race

Spend 15 minutes with Heatsheets CEO Chris Falk, and his passion for running and cycling will motivate you to lace up your running shoes and head outdoors.

Falk is an endurance \athlete who infuses more than 20 years of experience as an investment banker and corporate attorney into a company that has been protecting runners from the elements for more than 35 years.

Falk found time between manning the helm of Heatsheets and his races to speak on a recent Connect Run Club’s podcast about the role Heatsheets can play on race day and beyond and why this innovative product should be at every finish line.

Heatsheets blankets, race capes and ponchos will protect runners from almost any inclement weather conditions, reflecting up to 90 percent of a runner’s body heat back to him/her on cold days, or (when flipped over) deflecting heat away from the body on hot days. Heatsheets are also wind and water resistant.

Of equal importance Heatsheets are easy to distribute. Whereas some vendors produce folded blankets for finish line use, this isn’t the best option for runners who may be too mentally and physically tired to open packaging and unfold the blankets. Heatsheets blankets are dispersed in a dispenser carton, perforating every 72” by pulling them through a perforated slot in the carton top. Individual blankets are dispensed one at a time, like tearing off a paper towel.

Heatsheets are center-folded to reduce their width to just 25”, making it easy to transport and handle the cartons. Blankets are overlapped 1” so that volunteers can easily find the open edge; something that is essential when trying to hand out blankets quickly to runners.
