Fire Drills Don’t End when Temperatures Plummet

Back to School

According to the National Fire Protection Association’s school safety tips, “Fire drills should be held both at expected and at unexpected times, and under varying conditions in order to simulate the conditions that can occur in an actual emergency.”

During winter months, that may mean that cold weather is a factor. School districts can keep Heatsheets Emergency Blankets in stock and on hand by making our blankets part of the school’s emergency preparedness plan.

During fire drills, or actual emergencies, our blankets keep faculty and students protected by providing warmth – reflecting up to 90% of the user’s body heat back to them – while also being water and wind resistant. Heatsheets Emergency Blankets feature proprietary Silver Lining technology, which is based on radiant barrier technology developed by NASA for the U.S. Space Program.

Our products have been at the forefront of protecting individuals from the elements for more than 30 years. As a trusted source of protection, our Heatsheets Emergency Blankets have been designed with our customers’ comfort in mind, we also proudly source eco-friendly materials. Heatsheets blankets are produced, printed and converted in the United States.

Whether planning ahead for a routine fire drill or in the event of an actual emergency, Heatsheets’ expanded product offering includes a full line of emergency products to help schools prepare.
